Needlepoint Tapestry Carved Wood Folding Rocker Campaign Chair Antique
 
We did search for a maker mark, and found nothing. Please look at the pictures carefully. They will show the overall condition of the chair. We have had people come into our shop and offer many options as to its age, but no definitive number has ever been established.
 
Our opinion is that it is early 20th century, but it could well be late 1800’s as well. It certainly looks like the campaign chairs that were used by military commanders in the civil war, but we are relatively certain it is not that old.
